Located a half block from O'Connell Street in Dublin! Very convenient to shopping, buses and trains! Minutes by foot to Temple Bar District and Trinity College. Old style with modern touches. Staff arranged for early continental breakfast for us prior to our traveling out of Ireland!
Breakfast was excellent and the receptionist was very helpful
Staff at reception were very efficent. Very good food , Rooms very clean. Very central for shopping or business.
Ideal for city centre Staff were excellent and very friendly
old fashioned charm,freindly staff
party in hotel noisy til 1am
very friendly and sccomodating staff
Very helpful staff, convenient central location,
This is a very friendly nice hotel where you feel treated special all the time!
the period features and room where cosy and welcoming
the bathroom could do with a face lift for the price it was very poor except one staff member there was no or little interest in customers well beeing
I thought the Hotel was extremely comfortable and cosy. The breakfasts were first class, the staff all extremely helpful and attentive. The Hotel was within walking distance of the Abbey Theatre which was the reason for our stay - also great location for city centre shops, tour bus etcc I will make sure to book again soon.
Mmm one of our group had ordered Sea Bass in the bar (around 6pm) it was uneatable and seemed if it had been cooked earlier on in the day and heated up in a Microwave - however we brought this to the attention of the manager and he deducted the meal from our bill. The other food our group had ordered in the bar was great.
Excellent location, nice traditional Irish Hotel...
No air-co in the room and a little noisy!
It was actually our son that stayed for one night as he was attending the Jack White concert in the o2. He was well impressed and with the Luas outside the door going directly to the o2 the location was ideal. He said that the breakfast was very good. He travelled up by train so car parking was not an issue. Again the location is ideal for anybody arriving by train with the Luas stop right outside the door. If the rates are reasonable we intend to stay on our next visit to Dublin.
1.Central location, area where pubs are, 5min walk, shopping also. 2.Good WiFi internet 3.Excellent staff Breakfast is a la carte from 5 or 6 items, like british breakfast. You also have cereals as a buffet
1. Bad odor in a corridor in front of the room 2. I still prefer buffet breakfast
nice bathroom! perfectly poached eggs in the morning served by friendly and efficient staff. The hotel itself was so handy as a base to Grafton Street and for us the Abbey theatre! Parking organised by front desk was brilliant, but should be organised before hand so please tell the receptionist that you have a car and that be aware that you can park in the setting down area directly across the street from the hotel, until the nice porter parks it for you when you arrive. Very good staff!!!
room was a tad cramped and the noise from the streets prevented us from a good nights sleep next time we will ask for a quiet room! I must add that my sister and I do not want to complain at all, as we are aware that the hotel is smack bang in the city center, with lots of outside noise and the luas stop just outside the hotel entrance door,
excellent customer service- we got a room change quickly organisd despite the place being busy- we got room at back of house as we had requested but decided when we got there front of house was better. Excellent selection of Bar food & brilliant freshly cooked breakfast-so much better than buffet.
The room we got initally - a little small and we were mistaken in asking for back of hotel
